Phone System Update:

We have listened to our members and are excited to announce that we are investing time and money into technology to better serve you. Over the next 18 months, we will be rolling out several updates, starting with an update to our phone systems on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Homeownership Assistance

Equity Builder Program

Align Credit Union is proud to participate in the Equity Builder Program (EBP), funded by the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB). This grant provides income-eligible first-time homebuyers with up to $25,000 in assistance towards their down payment and closing costs, on a first-come, first-served basis. Homebuyer counseling and rehabilitation assistance is available to recipients. The funds do not need to be repaid, as long as you don't sell your home during the first five years of ownership. 

Eligibility:

  • Assists income-eligible first-time homebuyers with up to $25,000 in down-payment assistance and closing costs.
  • Available to households with income at or below 80% of HUD area median income based on property location.
  • Purchase property must be an owner-occupied primary residence.
  • Recipients must complete homebuyer education/counseling program.

Housing Our Workforce Program

The Housing Our Workforce (HOW) Program, funded by the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB), provides financial assistance to homebuyers earning more than 80% and up to 120% of the area median income. Eligible borrowers can receive up to $25,000 in assistance on a first-come, first-served basis. The funds do not need to be repaid, as long as you don't sell your home during the first five years of ownership.  

Eligibility:

  • Assists eligible homebuyers receive up to $25,000 in down-payment assistance and closing costs.
  • Available to households earning more than 80% and up to 120% of HUD area median income based on property location.
  • Purchase property must be an owner-occupied primary residence. 
  • Recipients who are first-time homebuyers must complete homebuyer education/counseling program.
